Find the right care for you or your loved one
Whether you’re looking at care for yourself or a family member, or you’re a health professional looking to make a difference to individuals’ lives, Trackars are here for you.
We progressively have become the leading care provider for people who wish to remain at home.
We offer an extensive range of nursing and community services. Our flexible model places you at the centre. Should you require night sits, assistance to walk your dog, someone to pop in and make you a nutritious home-cooked meal…or if your needs are more medically-driven we can create an individual care plan, tailored to your circumstances.
Our nurses and support workers are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Nights, weekends and bank holidays do not affect our commitment.
Trackars aim to provide the same nurse or carer to the same client so they can build up a relationship, form a routine and feel reassured, comfortable and at ease.
The Trackars Solution is an excellent option for families living abroad. By choosing professional home care they can be sure their loved one is being cared for in the best possible place: their own home.

“The carers are really kind and friendly. They treat mum like a friend and go above and beyond what is expected of them”.
“For the last 3 years Trackars have been delivering Nursing care for Jimmy, who requires complex needs support in our home. The nurses are professional, respectful and reliable and have become an integral part of our family and lives.”
“We are deeply grateful and extend a very special thanks to all the carers who looked after mum and treated her with dignity, respect and affection. Without them it would not have been possible to keep mum at home.”
Bridging the care gap
Often when we think of providing care, we automatically think of caring for older people. However, many families right here in Northern Ireland need professional help to care for children or young adults with learning difficulties, chronic or terminal illnesses.
We also run a care home in Ballymena called Bridgeview. It’s specifically designed for such families. It’s small, it’s intimate and it’s filled with care, love and all the expertise required to make life just that little bit easier for our younger patients and their families.
If you need help in finding care or respite for your child, teenager or young adult, we’d be more than happy to help you, please call us for advice.
What should I do if my loved one refuses to go into a care home but I can no longer manage to look after them?
Our advice is to talk to us to see if we could accommodate your loved one in their own home. It’s increasingly becoming a very real alternative to care home residency. And in our experience, everyone is happier to stay in their own home where possible.
What does it cost and how do I pay for the service?
This will depend on the direct contact time carers are actively present, providing a service. We are happy to discuss this with you at the time of your free consultation, which can take place at the client’s home or at our offices. Please note that we are in receipt of Financed Trust Packages and Top Up Fees. We also accept Independent Direct Payment Support.
What if I have a complaint about any aspect of the service?
Talk to us immediately. All our nurses and carers are carefully vetted; police checked and undergo a rigourous application process. If you or your family member is unhappy in any way, we will treat your complaint extremely seriously and in the strictest confidence. The safety, wellbeing and happiness of our clients are paramount.
What if my loved one doesn’t get on with the carer?
We will work to quickly resolve the issue by introducing your family member to another carer. Sometimes personalities can clash, or a difficult relationship can form. The best solution is when both client and carer get along, so that’s always our aim.
Will my loved one be assigned to one carer or multiple carers?
It is our aim to build a special relationship with our clients so we like to keep the same carer assigned to the same client. This way, we can get to know our clients much quicker, a rapport is formed, a routine is in place and the client feels more content.
